What was Roe v. Wade?
In this Supreme Court case a woman known as Jane Roe had wanted an abortion and claimed she couldn’t travel while being pregnant and it was her right to do so. Henry Wade an Attorney General, was brought to court to fight the abortion law. The outcome of this Court Case was that abortion was expanded off of a woman's right to an abortion. It made abortion legal and slowly became legal state by state.
